Ndinah Nasike Nasimiyu
I am Ndinah Nasike Nasimiyu from Khalwenge village in Igakha. I am thirty-three years old. I have been farming for many years. I started organic farming in 2017 and so I have three years since I started. In my farm, I have grown pumpkins, collards, cassava, onions, maize, and even trees. I believe organic farming is better because you do not need to apply artificial chemicals and it has no effect on the body but other farming practices are harmful as one need to apply chemicals. While using organic farming, crops cannot have effects on one’s body because no chemicals has been used to grow the crops. Organic farming is beneficial as it helps the body acquire all nutrients, and enables one get money from selling the surplus.
